An evening with local black authors and a surprise guest celebrity author, presented by the Hope Key Foundation. This is a non-profit organization whose mission is to interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline.

Literacy is crucial in interrupting the school-to-prison pipeline by empowering students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and in life.
